Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care, including 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care and imaging services in a safe manner.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the Radio pharmacy, including dose preparation, administration, and disposal.
• Utilize various imaging equipment throughout the hospital and perform quality control on each.
• Use hospital computer systems such as NMIS, PACS, RIS as part of daily activities.
• Maintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEP.
• Operate gamma cameras confidently and competently.
• Assist physicians in procedures and perform computer enhancement of images.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and demonstrate the ability to perform intravenous injections.
• Consult with patients to obtain complete clinical histories.
• Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• NJDEP license.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting, including experience with PET/CT.
