Job Summary and Qualifications

Nuclear Medical Technologist

We seek a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time, part-time, PRN, or per diem basis. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Utilize radioactive isotopes for organ and body scans.
• Prepare radioactive isotopes according to physicians' orders.
• Administer and record dosages.
• Perform diagnostic studies using scanners or scintillation cameras.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• Explain procedures compassionately and address concerns.
• Monitor, record, and communicate via computerized documentation.
• Assist with patient transport.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical education.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Active Florida Department of Health license (CRT).
• 1-3 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Valid ARRT (NM) and/or NMTCB certification.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
