Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform dose preparation, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and acquire and process diagnostic images for interpretation.

The role requires strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and patient care. You will work as part of a patient-centered team at our Homewood, AL facility.

Experience with SPECT/CT and PET imaging is a plus, and we offer day-one benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment, procedures, and radiation safety.
• Strong patient care and professional judgment.
• Ability to adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy tasks.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Maintains records and follows safety protocols per regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in process improvement and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
