Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide direct patient care and accurate imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer doses, and ensure precise image preparation for physician interpretation.

The role requires CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and current BLS, with responsibilities spanning image acquisition, safety compliance, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification with BLS.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment, procedures, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT imaging.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance per Alabama Health Department and hospital policies.
• Performs quality control and documentation for all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation.

Education

Nuclear Medicine Technology degree (approved school)
