Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Backus Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a per diem shift, including one rotating Saturday. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and hold CNMT/ARRT certification, with CT Advanced certification required within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Certification board eligible or certified (CNMT/NMTCB/ARRT/RTRCT).
• CT Advanced certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures in compliance with NRC regulations.
• Operate cameras to detect and map radiopharmaceuticals to create diagnostic images.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to department protocols.
