Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate our hybrid nuclear medicine system, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and perform imaging studies to support physician diagnosis and treatment planning.

The role reports to the Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor and requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with board certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Certification board eligibility and completion (CNMT NMTCB CT, RT(N) CT ARRRT).
• 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear detection and imaging equipment.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Radiologic studies.
• Follow professional and departmental protocols to provide diagnostic images for physicians.
• Report to Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Radiologic studies by following professional and departmental protocols to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment for the patient's condition. Reports to: Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for Nuclear Medicine program
• Has done all clinical competency’s, classroom training and passed a certification board (CNMT (NMTCB)(CT), R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT)) allowing you to operate a hybrid nuclear medicine system.
• 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.
