Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Bridgeport is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures in a hospital outpatient setting, adhering to NRC regulations and HIPAA. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and position patients to acquire diagnostic images.

The role requires a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, CNMT/ARRT (N) certification, and BLS. Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:30p, within Connecticut facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
• CNMT or ARRT (N) certification; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals.
• Position patients and inject isotopes for imaging.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper waste disposal per NRC.
• Review orders and patient information to ensure correct procedures.
• Maintain quality control and assist with image interpretation.

Education
