Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• CNMT or equivalent certification (NMTCB/CT, RT(N)(CT)/ARRT) required to operate the system.
• 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
• Provide physician diagnostic images to aid treatment planning and patient care.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Radiologic studies by following professional and departmental protocols to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment for the patient's condition. Reports to: Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited program for Nuclear Medicine program
• Has done all clinical competencies, classroom training and passed a certification board (CNMT (NMTCB)(CT), R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT)) allowing you to operate a hybrid nuclear medicine system.
• 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.
