Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking two certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists for onsite, 90-day contract engagements in Hartford, Connecticut. The department performs a broad range of diagnostic nuclear imaging studies for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency populations.

Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT (N) is required, along with graduation from an accredited program and the Connecticut credential required for practice.

Qualifications

• Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in hospital or imaging center settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assay, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per orders and protocols.
• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine exams (e.g., cardiac perfusion, bone, renal, hepatobiliary, thyroid).
• Operate gamma camera and SPECT; perform QC; route data to PACS.
• Maintain radiation safety and regulatory compliance for radioactive materials.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient prep; provide post‑administration radiation guidance.
