Brookwood Baptist Health in Homewood, AL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide direct patient care, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Responsibilities include PET/SPECT imaging, venipuncture, and radiopharmacy tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Must maintain current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification as stated.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine, therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scanning, cardiac stress lab functions, and radiopharmacy tasks as required.
• Exercise professional judgment and maintain a demeanor aligned with quality care.
• Deliver care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Perform SPECT and SPECT CT imaging as required.
• Perform PET imaging on a rotational basis as outlined in procedures.
• Maintain records and safety checks per regulations.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage venipuncture as prescribed.
