Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Heart South in Alabaster, AL. The role focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, patient safety, and high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to adhering to radiation safety standards while operating nuclear medicine equipment and delivering exceptional care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Experience not required, but working knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment operation and radiation safety.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT, SPECT CT and PET imaging.
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceutical doses per regulations.
• Process and document images for physician interpretation and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment and perform quality control checks.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and radiation safety.
