Job Overview

Assist the nuclear physician with special imaging procedures, ensuring tests are performed accurately and patient comfort is maximized.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current NJ State license.
• ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), and/or NMTCB Fusion Certification.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years hospital experience as a technologist preferred.

Scheduling Requirements

• Full-time, 5 days/week, 8-hour days. Every 5th or 6th weekend required. On-call duties included.

Essential Functions

• Follow hospital, state, and federal standards.
• Complete special assignments on time.
• Assist with imaging procedures, calibrate equipment, and perform QC.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure proper identification.
• Handle radioactive materials following safety protocols.
