Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Occupational Therapist in New Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of accredited program in Occupational Therapy at the baccalaureate or post baccalaureate level required
  • Previous outpatient experience preferred.
  • Previous oncology experience preferred.

Preferred:

  • Active membership in a professional organization is encouraged

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • New Jersey board license required
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift, 40 hours/week
  • Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients in the outpatient setting,
  • Patient and family intervention for patients of all ages with a range of diagnoses in the primary oncology setting. Diagnoses may be oncologic, neurologic, orthopedic, surgical or general medical in nature.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intra disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication, and program growth opportunities.
