Job summary

Indiana University Health System's Fishers Hospital is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under physician supervision. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, position patients for imaging, and ensure safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with regulations.

Requires Indiana ISDH licensure, board eligibility (ARRT NM/NMTCB), and BLS certification; 0-3 years of experience accepted; CT certification

Qualifications

0-3 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
Basic Life Support certification (AHA) is required.
Ability to maneuver equipment and adjust patient positions as needed.
Active licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Indiana; board eligibility within 6 months if applicable.
CT certification within 18 months if performing SPECT/CT or PET/CT.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
Record diagnostic images after proper patient positioning and instruction.
Handle radiopharmaceutical receipt, storage, administration and disposal per policies.
Follow lab procedures and comply with hospital, state and federal regulations.
