Job summary

Indiana University Health in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support diagnostic imaging and patient care in a hospital setting.

The role operates in a single-technologist department and participates in a build-out of a new facility while offering 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE) with potential rotating holidays. Start planning around March–May 2027 with orientation prior to opening.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) required.
• Must have active Nuclear Medicine credential or be board eligible with 6‑month credential deadline.
• SPECT/CT or PET/CT certification within 18 months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Position patients and operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Follow radiation safety, handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
