Wellstar Health System is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age‑appropriate imaging services. The role requires accurate verification of orders, patient preparation, and high-quality diagnostic studies using NM equipment.

You will ensure patient safety, privacy and comfort while delivering efficient imaging services. The position offers day shifts, a competitive benefits package, sign‑on bonus up to $20,000, and potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program
• ARRT‑N or CNMT certification required by hire
• BLS/ARC‑BLS or BLS‑I certification required by hire
• Minimum 1 year NM experience in a clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and collects patient history
• Executes exams per department protocols with proper technique
• Maintains patient dignity, privacy and safety throughout procedures
• Operates NM equipment and ensures proper calibration and cleaning
• Transmits studies to PACS and maintains documentation in RIS/PACS
