Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and diagnostic studies. You will set up equipment, position patients, and perform exams per departmental procedures with independence and clinical judgment.

Role includes opportunities for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, PTO, and a comprehensive Wellstar CareerCare program to support education and career progression in a full-time, daytime schedule in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a clinical setting caring for patients.
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• Certifications: ARR T Nuclear Tech or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Verify clinician orders and prepare/position patient for procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely per protocol and follow pre/post procedure care.
• Maintain equipment, perform inspections, and report malfunctions.
• Protect patient privacy and comfort and ensure proper patient identification.
