Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic exams, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety. You will set up equipment, position patients, and apply best practices to produce quality images while adhering to department procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Prepare and disinfect equipment; adhere to infection control policies.
• Verify proper patient identity and clinician order; follow preprocedural verification.
• Restock linens and supplies; transport patients and assist during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists; document studies in RIS/PACS.
