Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Jersey to perform radionuclide procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety under NRC guidelines. The role involves daily clerical duties using EPIC, PACS, and related systems, with on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT(N) and/or CNMT, NJ State license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
ARRT(N) and/or CNMT Registry and NJ State License.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of entering position.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

Perform radionuclide procedures on patients, including organ imaging and function studies.
Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed and ensure quality images.
Maintain radiation safety for staff and patients per NRC guidelines.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and tracer compounds.
Maintain records of radioisotope receipt, usage, storage and disposal.
Manage daily clerical duties using EPIC, PACS, Teletracking and related systems.
Be available for holidays, weekends, and on-call assignments as required.
