Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety. The role includes radiopharmaceutical preparation, quality control, and documentation per NRC and state regulations.

Responsibilities also cover daily clerical tasks in EPIC, PACS, and Teletracking, with on-call and holiday coverage as required. A strong focus on communication and safety is essential to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs radionuclide procedures on patients including organ imaging and function studies.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed.
• Provides radiation protection for self and patient per prescribed safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to the patient.
• Calibrates equipment and assays radionuclides.
• Maintains records of radioisotope receipt, use and disposal as required by regulations.
• Performs daily clerical duties using EPIC, PACS, Teletracking and related systems.
• On-call and holiday/weekend coverage as needed.
