Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide procedures for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic applications. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure strict radiation safety standards.

The role involves maintaining records, using PACS for image QA, and supporting daily clerical tasks within the Radiology department. On-call and weekend shifts may apply within a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT(N) and/or CNMT credential.
• New Jersey State license required for Nuclear Medicine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office / Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Perform radionuclide procedures for organ imaging and function studies.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment and ensure radiation protection.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and tracer compounds.
• Maintain records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage and disposal.
• Evaluate images using PACS to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Collaborate in Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT as needed.
• Complete daily clerical duties (EPIC, PACS, Teletracking) and patient scheduling.
