Five Star Nursing seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform advanced imaging studies and manage radiopharmaceuticals within a safety-focused environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• At least 2 years of nuclear medicine imaging experience.
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification.
• BLS certification.
• State licensure as required.
• PET certification preferred.
• Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following prescribed dosages and safety standards.
• Conduct planar, SPECT, and PET/CT imaging studies including cardiac and oncologic assessments.
• Operate gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners with daily quality control.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and maintain radiation safety.
• Coordinate imaging schedules with referring clinicians to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain compliance with radiation protection and infection control standards.
• Document procedures and equipment performance for regulatory compliance.
