Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform specialized imaging procedures, prepare and educate patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate advanced imaging equipment with strict radiation safety. Your collaboration with radiologists and care teams will support safe, accurate diagnoses and compassionate patient care.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Certification required CNMT or ARRT(N).
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepares patients for procedures and ensures compliance with safety protocols.
• Provides patient instruction to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and related devices.
• Maintains accurate records and uses PACS/RIS for image management.
