Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure safe patient care. You will operate specialized NM equipment, position patients, verify orders and maintain image quality, while adhering to department procedures.

The role requires an Associates in Radiologic Technology with 1 year of clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in patient care required.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety, identify and mitigate contraindications.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleaning routines.
• Assist other technologists and follow physician instructions.
