Job summary

SGMC Health's Nuclear Medicine department seeks a skilled technologist to perform scintigraphic procedures, including PET/CT imaging, with gamma cameras and radiopharmaceuticals. Certification and at least 1 year of staff experience are preferred.

Full Time, 8:30-5:00pm at the Main Campus; $20,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, PTO, life and disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, and career growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of staff Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse patients and staff.
• Flexible in work schedule and able to handle varied workloads.
• Accurate documentation and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs scintigraphic procedures using gamma cameras and PET/CT equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic workups.
• Performs QA/PI activities and ensures quality control values.
• Maintains safety and contamination control per regulatory standards.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals for administration to patients.
