Avera St Luke's Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for outpatients. You will support imaging for diagnosis and treatment and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating equipment, quality control, and assisting physicians in exams. Opportunities for sign-on bonus are available; employer benefits and professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
• CNMT - Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential upon hire (NMTCB).
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) credential upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration; operates imaging and calibration equipment.
• Performs quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
• Assists in development and implementation of new procedures.
• Follows NRC regulations and completes exams per policy and procedure.
• Assists physicians in performing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams.
• Calculates and administers diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals; maintains radionuclide records.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and data systems accurately.
• Assists with radionuclide Rx procedures and monitoring.
• Assists with brachytherapy implant procedures and related inventory and checks.
