Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for outpatients. This role supports diagnostic and treatment imaging and requires strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging and calibration equipment, and assist physicians in examinations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience communicating effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to meet the stated work hours and perform essential job functions.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine safety and regulatory requirements.

Aufgaben

• Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
• Operates imaging equipment and radiopharmaceutical calibration equipment.
• Performs quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
• Assists in development and implementation of new procedures.
• Follows Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulations.
• Completes all nuclear medicine exams according to policy.
• Assists physicians in diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams.
• Calculates and administers diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals and maintains records.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and related computer data systems.
• Assists with radionuclide Rx procedures and monitoring; brachytherapy procedures.

Associate's or certificate of completion from a School of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine

CNMT – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Upon Hire

Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) – ARRT Upon Hire
