Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform exams, set up equipment, and position patients for safe, high-quality diagnostic studies. You will verify orders, maintain patient comfort, and follow department procedures with independence.

The role requires an Associates in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear or Certified Nuclear Med Tech, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: 1+ year in a clinical setting caring for patients.
• 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor or service provider.
• Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment per infection control policy.
