Job summary

Aurora Health Care Central, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac and general studies. You will prep and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform venipuncture, and ensure precise labeling and documentation of images.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification within designated timelines, BLS, and strong knowledge of safety and ALARA principles. You will ensure quality assurance and accurate study data entry in the RIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent knowledge.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Tech (N) or NMTCB certification within designated time.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures including general and cardiac studies.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders.
• Perform venipuncture and peripheral IV placement.
• Maintain records and enter data in radiology information systems.
• Conduct equipment QA tests and report malfunctions.
• Position patients and transport as needed while applying proper techniques.
