Qualifications

  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine with a minimum of three years preferred.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established policies, methods, and standards to provide quality patient care.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Document patient information and support procedure completion with non-clinical duties.
  • Greet and identify patients, explain procedures to ensure understanding and rights.
  • Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures, disposing of radioactive waste per policy and NRC standards.
  • Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures as required.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance, quality control, and radiation monitoring activities.
  • Maintain supplies and a clean, organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education to enhance Nuclear Medicine knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Read, understand, and follow all Physician Services policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and organizational values.

What you need for this role:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.

Experience:

  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine, including formal training or a minimum of three years in a nuclear medicine department preferred.

Certification/License:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
