Job summary

The role requires graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program and minimum of 2 years of hospital-based nuclear medicine experience, with ARRT or NMTCB credentials and state radiologic certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
• 2 years experience as nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
• ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T) or NMTCB certification.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel and ensures effective planning and operation of the section.
• Leads formal and informal meetings to maximize the group’s success.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records; coordinates maintenance to avoid patient care disruption.
• Assesses impact of decisions across the organization and communicates with other managers.
• Gathers data to identify issues and defines problems, then evaluates alternatives.
• Uses resources efficiently to maintain productivity as directed by department leadership.
