Job summary

Virtua Medical Group, PA in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform procedures up to NRC/ACR standards on-site. This per diem, part-time role supports the radiology team and utilizes RIS and PACS systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Registered by the ARRT and/or certified by the NMTCB preferred.
CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and utilization of Nuclear Medicine equipment and performs high-quality studies per radiologist protocols.
Performs venipuncture and follows protocols for administering radioisotopes.
Monitors quality control tests to ensure accurate, timely results.
Reports recordkeeping issues to Management or Radiation Safety Officer.
Performs routine calibration on equipment without assistance.
Adheres to safety precautions and confidentiality of electronic communications.
Covers shifts on a rotational basis and responds to on-call calls as required.
