Virtua Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine/PET technologist for on-site per diem work at our South Jersey facilities. The role requires an AMA-accredited radiology/nuclear medicine education, NJ Fusion license qualifiers, and CPR certification. Hourly pay is $60.00 with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

The position entails operating NM and PET equipment, ensuring safety, and collaborating with radiologists to optimize patient care. Sign-on bonus of $500 is available for new hires.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year in Nuclear Medicine required.
• Minimum of 1 year PET experience, preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Mansioni

• Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures according to approved techniques and standards.
• Demonstrates competence to perform venipuncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Ensures quality control and calibration of equipment; adheres to safety procedures.
• Uses RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems; maintains patient confidentiality.
• Covers all shifts on a rotational basis and responds to on-call requirements.
