Virtua Health is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Mount Holly. The role requires performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in line with NRC/ACR standards, with on-site coverage and a per-diem schedule.

A minimum of one year in Nuclear Medicine is preferred, along with an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program and NJ licensure or ARRT/NMTCB certification. Responsibilities include quality control, venipuncture, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and safe handling to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Current NJ license in Nuclear Medicine Technology; ARRT and/or NMTCB certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with approved techniques and NRC/ACR standards.
• Ensure quality control tests are completed accurately and timely.
• Perform venipuncture and administer radioisotopes per protocol.
• Safeguard against unnecessary radiation exposure and follow safety procedures.
• Operate RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems while maintaining confidentiality.
• Respond to scheduling changes and cover shifts as needed.
