Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform studies per radiologist protocols, maintain safety and quality control, and support a team-focused culture.

The role requires 1 year in Nuclear Medicine preferred, NJ license, ARRT/NMTCB preferred, and the ability to cover shifts across Virtua South divisions. Per diem, part-time hours with sign-on bonus for new hires.

Qualifications

• 1 year in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current N.J. license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and utilization of Nuclear Medicine equipment; performs high-quality studies per radiologist protocols.
• Performs venipuncture and administers radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols.
• Performs quality control tests and ensures timely, accurate results.
• Recognizes and reports recordkeeping failures or omissions to Management or Radiation Safety Officer.
• Performs routine calibration on equipment without assistance.
• Observes safety precautions and minimizes radiation exposure to staff and patients.
• Prepares kits aseptically and follows manufacturer inserts for radiopharmaceuticals.
• Utilizes RIS, PACS and hospital systems while maintaining confidentiality of electronic communications.
• Covers shifts across Virtua South divisions and responds on call per policy.
