Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures. You will follow all protocols, ensure patient safety, and maintain regulatory compliance while mentoring students and junior staff.

The role requires a nuclear medicine program accreditation (JRCNMT or NMTCB), at least 1 year of experience, and relevant certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT, or NMTCB licensure/certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and ALARA standards.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist during tests.
• Maintain records, licenses and files per regulatory requirements.
• Mentor students and junior technologists; post-process imaging with applicable software.
