Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a compliant environment. You will position patients, operate equipment, and ensure quality control while explaining procedures and safety to patients.

You will mentor students and junior staff, maintain records, and support advanced imaging post-processing to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• 1 year of experience required.
• ARDMS/ARRT CNMT/NMTCB and BLS certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols.
• Performs quality control procedures per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Explain test procedures and safety to patients and assist during procedures.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Mentor students and junior technologists; support imaging post-processing with advanced software.
