Job summary

Northside Hospital is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging.

You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data collection to support diagnosis and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification or eligibility requirements within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• OR
• Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
