Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate imaging and data collection, supporting disease diagnosis and treatment across our Atlanta area services.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified as NM technologist (ARRT/NMTCB) or eligible for certification within 6 months.
  • Associate's Degree or higher and certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT/NMTCB).
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate imaging and data for diagnosis and treatment.

Education

Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Associate's Degree or higher

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

REQUIRED
  1. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

OR

Associate's Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB

  1. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
