Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and patient care in a hospital setting. You will set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure accurate labeling and privacy throughout procedures.

The role requires an associates in radiologic technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology or equivalent certification, and at least one year of clinical experience; BLS is required, with opportunities for education through our CareerCare program.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and set up imaging equipment for procedures.
• Position patients and ensure correct identification and markers.
• Maintain infection control and equipment calibration.
• Review images and ensure quality before radiologist review.
• Assist other technologists and respond to emergencies as needed.
