Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures with a focus on safety and quality. You will prepare the patient, operate imaging equipment, verify orders, and ensure patient privacy and comfort while delivering diagnostic studies.

Eligible candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Nuclear Medicine credentials, and at least 1 year of clinical NM experience. Competitive benefits and a day-shift schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program is preferred.
• ARRT-N or CNMT nuclear technology certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Verify orders, gather history, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Acquire and review images, ensure proper identification, and document procedures.
• Restock supplies, transport patients, and maintain department cleanliness.
