Job summary

WellStar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with emphasis on safety and patient care. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality studies while maintaining infection control standards.

The ideal candidate holds an Associates in Radiologic Technology with 1 year of clinical experience; Nuclear medicine experience preferred, ARRT Nuclear Tech certification or equivalent, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience; Nuclear medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality.
• Verify clinician orders and patient identity before procedures.
• Perform radiologic exams and ensure safety and infection control.
• Restock and maintain Nuclear Medicine department equipment and supplies.
