Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform diagnostic imaging in collaboration with radiologists and ensure high-quality images are transmitted to PACS for review.

Applicants must hold a current state license in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT/NMT certification, and BCLS. Prior radiology experience and familiarity with radiographic equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT or N.M.T.C.B. certification required.
• At least one year of nuclear medicine and radiology experience preferred.
• Graduate of ARRT-accredited program and BCLS (AHA) certified.
• Proficient with medical imaging software and PACS transmission.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging in collaboration with radiologists.
• Support radiologists and ensure quality images for PACS.
• Maintain equipment readiness and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• 2. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• 3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• 4. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
• 5. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• 6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• 7. Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• 8. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.50 to $46.88 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
