Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem day shifts. You will perform diagnostic imaging and support radiology staff in a collaborative environment.

The role requires current nuclear medicine license and ARRT/NMTCB certification; CPR/BCLS; and experience with PACS. Per diem schedule offers flexible hours and opportunities to advance skills in a teaching hospital setting with modern imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• License and certifications required as listed.
• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Experience with PACS and imaging workflows is beneficial.
• Graduate of JRCNMT or CAMRT accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in collaboration with Radiology.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Provide quality imaging and support for radiologists.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• Proficient computer skills.
