Job summary

Garden City Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostics and therapeutic procedures under the radiologist supervision and ensure high-quality imaging and proper transmission of images to PACS.

The ideal candidate holds a current state license or ARRT/NMTCB certification, with preferred experience in acute care radiology and familiarity with radiographic equipment. Per diem schedule with flexible shifts is offered.

Qualifications

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
