Job summary

Hmixray in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Under radiologist direction, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform PET/CT or nuclear medicine studies, follow established protocols, and guide patients through examinations while safeguarding patient information and on-site medications.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
• State Nuclear Medicine License
• Venipuncture certification/permit
• BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients with excellent care.
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Under radiologist supervision, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and address questions.
• Monitor patients well-being during exams and take appropriate action.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information, medications, and equipment on site.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
