Job summary

Hmixray in Newark, DE is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies on patients, follow established protocols, and assist the radiologist in using radioisotopes to detect or treat disease while guiding patients through the exam.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional communication, and cooperative teamwork in a fast-paced setting; on-site training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
State Nuclear Medicine license required.
Venipuncture certification/permit required.
BLS certification required; at least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT images on patients.
Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist direction.
Guide patients through the exam and answer questions.
Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to concerns.
Coordinate with physicians and staff to support patient care.
Safeguard patient information and medication on site.
Maintain professional conduct with patients and coworkers.
