Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a PET Technologist to join our radiology team in Santa Clarita, CA. You will operate PET scanners, produce diagnostic images, and support radiologists during imaging and contrast procedures. A focus on patient care and safety is essential.

The role involves guiding patients through procedures, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure excellent clinical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
• Venipuncture certification/permit.
• BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET scanners and related equipment following safety procedures and company protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while ensuring patient care.
• Assist radiologists with imaging, IV starts, and contrast administration if needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions and concerns during exams.
• Monitor patient well‑being during exams and act on any discomfort or medical issues.
