Job summary
Hmixray in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT imaging on patients while delivering excellent care.
Under radiologist direction, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals, follow established protocols, monitor patient well-being, and communicate clearly with patients and physicians. Join a team with dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities, plus competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
- State Nuclear Medicine license required.
- Venipuncture certification/permit required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients while providing excellent care.
- Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
- Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
- Guide patients through the process by explaining steps and answering questions and concerns.
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams and take appropriate action if needed.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Safeguard patient information and property, including PHI and meds on site.
- Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
