Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist in Signal Hill, CA. The role involves performing nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging with emphasis on high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.

You will work under radiologist direction, administering radiopharmaceuticals, guiding patients, and ensuring safety and confidentiality of patient information. A strong focus on compassionate, professional interactions with patients and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential diagnostic imaging experience (1+ year) in nuclear medicine or similar.
• Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB is required or preferred.
• State Nuclear Medicine License is required.
• Venipuncture certification/permit is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT images with excellent patient care.
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision to detect or treat diseases.
• Guide patients through procedures, answering questions and concerns.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams and respond to any issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications according to policy.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and staff.
